Warren Edward Cutler

January 27, 1946 — September 20, 2024

Provo, Utah

A graveside funeral service for Mr. Warren Edward Cutler, 78, of Provo, Utah, and formerly of Las Vegas and Panaca, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 30, 2024, at Panaca Memorial Park in Panaca, Nevada.

Warren passed away quietly at Provo, Utah, the morning of Friday, September 20, 2024. He was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, on January 27, 1946, the first child of Royal Harmon Cutler and Barbara White Cutler. He is survived by a son, Royal Edward Cutler and wife Kirstie, of Pahrump, Nevada, three sisters: Jannette Teames and husband Charlie Teames of South Carolina, Karen Rushton and husband Terry Rushton of Alabama, and Barbara Hope Ewing and husband Michael Ewing of California. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Royal, his mother Barbara, and siblings Linda Cutler, Royal G. Cutler, and Suzanne Aldershof. Warren was the grandson of Warren and Winifred Cox Cutler (early settlers of Lincoln County) and Edward Michael White and Jennie Durrant.

Warren was educated in Panaca and later served in the Job Corp. He resided in Las Vegas for many years, working in his pool and window service and later managing and maintaining a small apartment complex. Upon retirement he returned to Panaca where he resided until the effects of Parkinson’s disease rendered him unable to live independently. He spent the last few years of his life in Utah. Warren loved the tree-covered mountains, desert, and wildlife of Nevada and received great peace and happiness as he and his dog hopped in his vehicle to roam the hills and valleys of Lincoln County often accompanied by Brian Corley his life-long devoted and treasured friend.

Warren had a deep and abiding testimony of Jesus Christ as his Savior and Redeemer, and was a lifetime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, having received his endowments in the Las Vegas Temple. He was a quiet, humble servant of the Lord who is now reunited with many of his loved ones in the Heavenly realms above.

The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the Panaca Pioneer Ward and to all who have extended their love, prayers, and thoughtful service during this time of bereavement. We know Warren would want to express his love and appreciation to his former Bishop, Justin Frehner and wife Larissa and special friends, the Cliff and Wilma Merrel family, for their tender and loving care and friendship, and his hospice nurse Jessica, for all her care.

Services are under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary, Cedar City, Utah. We are grateful to all their staff for their kindness and excellent assistance. Online condolences may be left at www.southernnevadamortuary.com.
