Ruby Larene Logan, 85, of Sparks, Nevada, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on November 15, 2016. Ruby was born on April 21, 1931 in Panaca, Nevada to C. Kenneth Lee and Ruth Danvers Lee. She was raised in Panaca with her beloved brother Kenneth D. Lee. She graduated from Lincoln County High School in 1949. She married John Monroe Leach on April 20, 1950, and had four sons from that union. She subsequently married Everett Earl Logan on November 23, 1972 and thereby acquired the one thing she was missing in life—a daughter. In her young adult years she worked for the FBI in Washington DC. After raising her children she worked as a voucher control officer for American Federal Bank. She also provided bookkeeping services for the Plumb Lane Texaco owned and operated by her husband. Being an all state basketball player herself, she enjoyed watching her children compete in sporting events. Her greatest joy was her family and she particularly enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren. She was a faithful and devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved serving in the Church. Ruby will be greatly missed by her family and friends, particularly those in the Shadow Ranch Ward that served her so lovingly in the final years of her life. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Everett, and her son Gary William Logan. She is survived by her brother Kenneth D. Lee (Dawn) of Panaca, and her children John Leach (Linda) of Las Vegas, Matt Logan (Lisa) of Pleasant Grove, Utah, Susan Mueller of Reno, Steven Leach (Carol) of Coppell, Texas, and Michael Leach (Nancy) of Gering, Nebraska. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at the Panaca, Nevada LDS Church on Friday, November 18, 2016 with a viewing at 9:30 am, service at 10:30 am, and the interment to follow at the Panaca Cemetery.
