Panaca

Lea Ann Mathews, beloved sister, mother, wife, and grandmother, died Sunday, October 13. She was 72.

She is survived by her husband and their three children, Myron (Stephanie); Annette Griggs (Nik); and Elise Bauman; as well as siblings Gene, Ike, Ern, and Gwen Romans; and grandsons Travis Bauman and Martin Griggs. She will be lovingly remembered by nephews, nieces, cousins, grandnephews, and grandnieces too numerous to name, including Larissa Frehner, who was a source of support and love to her in her final years.

Lea Ann left a legacy of loving care and selfless, simple giving to her family, friends, and community. Funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building in Panaca on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at 11:00 am.
