Janice Pearson passed away peacefully on October 12 th , 2016, five years to the day, after her sweet Mother. She was 69 years old.
Janice was born on September 14, 1947, in Rexburg, Idaho. She was the second child of Wayne and Ilene Archibald Pearson.
Janice was a beloved member of our family of 13 siblings. Because of her handicap, she never attended school and became mother’s biggest helper. Her greatest joy was hanging the wash. All the cloth diapers together, all the underwear together and all the shirts from their tails.
She remembered all our birthdays and anniversaries and who was expecting the next baby of Mothers and Fathers 100 grandkids.
She loved living the last five years in her tiny house in Panaca where she could walk to the store and buy all the candy she wanted. She was loved and cherished by many in her community.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved her church calling which was leading the music in Relief Society.
She is survived by her son Jeremy and her siblings, Cheryl Jeffs, Keith and Lacie Pearson, Kay and Derrill Laub, Jelene and Linton Kirkland, Roger and Kady Pearson, Lee and Ellen Pearson, Helen and Ken Loverme, Ruth and Dean Laub, Beth Ware, Lilly Reid and Donna Cox.
Funeral services will be Saturday, October 22, 2016, at 11 am at the LDS Church in Panaca, Nevada. There will be a viewing prior to the services at 9:30. Interment will be in the Panaca Cemetery under the direction of Southern Nevada Mortuary.
