Iron County Rest Home resident, Ellen Adams Bullock passed away in Cedar City, Utah on July 14, 2016. After a long battle with many health ailments, Ellen returned peacefully to her Father in Heaven. Born on October 13, 1942 in Cedar City, Utah, Ellen was the first born child of Loraine and Eleanor Adams. She married J. C. Bullock in Pioche, Nevada on April 4, 1964.
She graduated from Lincoln County High School, and went on to have an almost thirty year career working with young ladies at the Caliente Youth Center. She loved fishing, sewing, crocheting, and enjoyed being a member of the LDS church.
Ellen is survived in death by her brother, Dee Adams of Goldfield, Nevada, sisters Erlene (Dennis) Orton of Enoch, Utah, Carol (Ken) Black of Wellington, Utah, and Jean Vaughn of Caliente, Nevada along with many loved nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister-in-law, Norah (Tootsie) Adams.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the LDS church in Caliente, Nevada. Interment took place at the Caliente Cemetery under the direction of Southern Nevada Mortuary.
