Delores Wadsworth Horlacher passed away peacefully on Monday May 2, 2016 at age 82, while in the loving care of her husband, Pete Horlacher. She was born June 22, 1933 in Panaca, Nevada to James and Lois Wadsworth.
After graduating from Lincoln County High School in 1951, Delores attended the University of Nevada, Reno for two years on a scholarship. She then married her high school sweetheart and life-long companion, Pete Horlacher, in the St. George Temple on June 12, 1953. They eventually settled in Las Vegas and raised their six children. She had quietly and gracefully endured many years of affliction from Multiple Sclerosis which prevented her from walking for the past 30 years. During these years she derived great pleasure from hosting many family reunions at her home in Panaca and watching her grandkids and others enjoy the backyard – sometimes referred to as “Pete’s Park”. The care provided to Delores by her husband was an example to all of unwavering devotion and enduring love.
