Debra Kay Eyraud

February 17, 1953 — March 16, 2025

Caliente, Nevada

Debra Kay Eyraud was born on February 17, 1953 to Lois Mae Coffman and Harold Shuey, in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and passed away March 16, 2025 in St. George, Utah. Known as Debbie by just about everyone, she was an incredible, loving, bright soul that loved her family, and held a sense of strength that brought comfort to many lives. Debbie spent her childhood and teenage years in Janesville, Wisconsin, growing up with her siblings Roger, Kathy, and Monica until she moved to California in her late teens.

She lived in California for a short time where she gave birth to her daughter Faith Alicia before moving to Las Vegas where she worked as a waitress. She then met John Eyraud at a bar in Las Vegas called the Troubadour Lounge. They married at a small chapel on December 6, 1975. Debbie and John then moved back to his hometown of Caliente Nevada. They raised their children, Faith, who John had adopted, and John’s three children from his previous marriage, Mike, Jody, and Monica. They remained in a loving marriage until John’s death in 2010.

Debbie looked after many children as a babysitter throughout the years. She touched the lives of many with her sincerity and courage. She loved to stay busy, looking after her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and working up to the point she was told to stay home much to her frustration. After she stopped working, she focused on her family and pets, spending time relaxing and taking care of her yard. Anyone who knew Debbie knew she cared deeply for her family and friends, as well as the pets she had throughout her life. She had a great sense of humor and a sense of calm that made her a strong pillar for her family. She was a kind soul that will be significantly missed by all those who knew her.

Debbie is survived by her daughter, Faith Bywater of Nevada; Daughter, Monica Tindal of Missouri; Son, Mike Eyraud of Missouri; Son, Jody Eyraud of Nevada; Sister, Monica Liguari of Illinois; Brother, Roger Shuey of Virginia; Sister, Patricia Coffman of Arizona; Brother, Martin Coffman of Nevada; Sister, Carolyn Coffman Streb of Nevada and her loved Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Nephews, and Nieces.

She is preceded in death by her Husband, John Eyraud; Sister, Kathleen Yeary; and Son-in-Law, Richard Bywater.
